Early Life and Education

MacGyver Mukwevho, better known as MacG, was born on 6 November 1988 in Gauteng and lost his father in 1994. He was raised by his mother and learned self‑reliance at a young age, even teaching himself basic life skills like fishing and making clothes.

He attended Hyde Park High School. From childhood, he showed talent in media; he began hosting e.tv’s youth programme Craze around 2000. By the age of 12, he was already navigating television screens.
